Mr Weekender exists for the outdoor guy, making men’s daily health and wellbeing easy as.

After years of hammering it hard in harsh outdoor weather conditions, Mr Weekender noticed a change in his skin. It was dry, red and a little more weatherbeaten. To take care of himself and his mates, Mr Weekender got to work sourcing the ultimate ingredients using a little science and a lot of experience. The result is a line up of men’s care products that’ll keep your mug looking good without all the fuss - now and in 10 year’s time.

CREATIVE DIRECTION

The Mr. Weekender brand story and target audience is what sets this brand against the rest, so we knew the creation of the brand from art direction and strategy to all design and product packaging, really needed to elevate the story and connect deeply with the β€˜outdoor guy’. We achieved this through an illustration that encapsulates who the Mr. Weekender guy is. He is kitted out with a hat, a fishing rod in his backpack, surfboard, skateboard, goggles and he’s ripping a famous hand signal…the Shaka. He is clearly heading off adventuring. This was the foundational piece of design from which we built the rest of the Mr. Weekender brand around. To support our main character, we developed 4 other illustrations…a mountain, a sun, trees and a wave to represent the elements Mr Weekender finds himself in day in and day out. Using relaxed, friendly and masculine typography with a chill colour palette, we were able to craft such incredible visuals to bring this brand story to life.
